I have played around with various forms of art for most of my life, and in recent years my focus has been on art for children. Since I really didn't have a business card that represented the variety of things I've been working on - face painting, growth charts, and other recent work - I decided to get one made. After some brainstorming, I came up with the name "Glitterfish". The words "glitter" and "fish" just sound so fun and flashy...just the kind of thing I would want a face painter to do at my party or corporate event! It just worked. I then needed the actual Glitterfish image for my business card, so I painted it. Above is the result. The cards are being printed now and will be here soon!
